Application Instructions

  1. 1

    Surface Preparation

The substrate must be sound, fully cured, clean, and free from dust, oil, paint residues, silicone, bitumen, tar, detergents, form-release agents, curing compounds, and any other contaminants that may reduce adhesion. Cracks, voids, and damaged areas should be repaired with a suitable repair mortar before application. On fair-faced concrete substrates, a suitable concrete primer should be applied prior to application to improve adhesion. The substrate should be properly pre-dampened before applying the mortar.

  2. 2

    Mixing

Pour 5.5 – 6.5 L of clean water into a clean mixing container and gradually add 25 kg of Plastder Fine Render. Mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is obtained. Allow the mortar to rest for 5 – 10 minutes, then remix for 1 – 2 minutes before application. The prepared mortar should be used within its 2 – 3 hours pot life.

Important Notes

  • The application and ambient temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C.
  • Do not add cement, lime, gypsum, sand, or any other additives to the prepared mortar.
  • Follow the recommended mixing water ratio and do not exceed the specified amount of water.
  • Do not apply on surfaces exposed to frost within 24 hours, or to direct sunlight and strong winds.
  • After application, protect the surface from frost, snow, and other adverse weather conditions for at least 7 days.
  • Where necessary, suitable protective measures should be taken.

Storage and Shelf Life
