Applied to the back of the board with a notched trowel at 3–8 mm; cure 24–48 hours before rendering.

Step 2 · Mechanical anchoring
At least 6 anchors per m², selected for the substrate and board thickness; more on high-rise buildings.

Step 3 · Mesh-reinforced render
MAXPLAST 2602Thermal Insulation Board Render
160 g/m² alkali-resistant mesh embedded into approximately 4 mm of render with 10 cm overlaps.

Applied with a steel trowel after priming and textured with a plastic float after 20–30 minutes.
