Application Instructions

  1. 1

    Surface Preparation

The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, and level. Dirt, oil, paint residues, and any other contaminants that may reduce adhesion must be completely removed. Absorbent substrates should be pre-dampened before application; however, standing water must not be allowed on the surface.

  2. 2

    Mixing

Gradually add 25 kg of RP-2606+ to 4.0 – 4.5 L of clean water. Mix using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. Allow the prepared mortar to rest for approximately 5 minutes, then remix for 1 – 2 minutes before application.

  3. 3

    Application

Apply the prepared mortar to the required thickness using a trowel and level the surface. After the mortar has reached its initial set (approximately 45 – 90 minutes, depending on ambient conditions), finish the surface with a trowel. Smooth the surface using a damp sponge to obtain a uniform finish. Do not use mortar that has exceeded its pot life. Remove hardened material completely from the surface. For applications thicker than 10 mm, apply the mortar in layers, allowing at least 3 hours between coats.

Important Notes

  • Do not apply on painted surfaces, gypsum-based substrates, or aerated concrete.
  • Keep the applied surface moist for 2 – 3 days after application.
  • Do not use as a final concrete floor topping on large surface areas.
  • As this is a cement-based product, avoid inhalation of dust and contact with the skin and eyes.
  • Clean hands and all tools with plenty of water immediately after application.
  • Protect the surface from wind and direct sunlight during application.
  • Consumption may vary depending on application conditions and substrate characteristics.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store in the original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture, frost, and direct sunlight. When stored under appropriate conditions, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Health and Safety

This product is cement-based and may cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Appropriate personal protective equipment (protective clothing, protective gloves, safety goggles, and a dust mask) should be worn during application. The use of a protective skin cream before starting work is recommended. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention without delay.
