Application Instructions
- 1
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be level, sound, and clean. Dust, oil, dirt, and loose particles must be completely removed. Cracks and damaged areas should be repaired with a suitable repair mortar and allowed to dry for 3 – 4 days before application. Concrete substrates should be lightly pre-dampened; however, standing water must not be allowed on the surface. Smooth surfaces such as marble and ceramic should be roughened to improve adhesion. Suitable primer should be applied on absorbent substrates such as aerated concrete and gypsum boards.

Mixing
Pour 6.0 – 6.5 L of clean water into a clean mixing container and gradually add 25 kg of FIXDER+. Mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is obtained. Allow the mortar to rest for 3 minutes, then remix for 1 – 2 minutes before application.
Important Notes
- The prepared mortar should be used within 30–40 minutes after application to the substrate.
- The maximum application thickness is 6 mm.
- During application and curing, the ambient and substrate temperatures must be above +5 °C.
- After application, protect the surface from frost, rain, and direct sunlight for the first 12 hours.
- A minimum grout joint width of 3 mm should be maintained, and grouting should be carried out after 24 hours.
- Prepare only the amount of mortar that can be used and apply a suitable primer to gypsum-based and other absorbent substrates before application.
Storage and Shelf Life
