Application Instructions
- 1
Surface Preparation
The tile adhesive must be fully cured before grouting. Cement residues, dust, and other contaminants must be completely removed from the joints. The joint depth should be at least two-thirds (2/3) of the tile thickness. The cleaned joints should be lightly pre-dampened before application; however, standing water must not be allowed.
- 2
Mixing
Pour 6–7 L of clean water into a clean mixing container and gradually add 20 kg of grout. Mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is obtained. Do not add more water than the recommended mixing ratio. Allow the mortar to rest for 5–10 minutes, then remix for 1–2 minutes before application. The prepared mortar has a pot life of approximately 1 hour.
- 3
Application
Apply the prepared grout using a rubber grout float or a hard rubber squeegee. To ensure complete filling of the joints, apply the grout first parallel to the joints and then diagonally. Remove excess grout with a damp spatula. After approximately 15–30 minutes, clean the thin grout film from the tile surface using a damp sponge. Do not use an excessively wet sponge. On vertical surfaces, allow 24 hours for drying. Horizontal surfaces are ready for foot traffic after 48 hours. Allow 7 days before full foot traffic.
Important Notes
- The application and ambient temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Do not apply on surfaces exposed to the risk of frost.
- Do not apply on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight, strong winds, or other adverse weather conditions.
- Do not add water or powder product to grout that has started to set.
- Do not use bleach, hydrochloric acid, or other abrasive chemicals to clean fully cured grout joints.
